SUMMARY

Bolton Kia is the only wholly owned subsidiary of Kia UK Limited, and Europe’s largest Kia dealer in terms of volume of sales.

As the Marketing Executive, you will need to be detail-orientated with strong organisational skills as you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in planning, delivering and monitoring all online and offline marketing activities at Bolton Kia.

You will be digitally led, but have a solid understanding of using a multi-channel approach, and you will have demonstrable experience in campaign management, analytics and content creation as you will be managing a large proportion of Bolton Kia’s digital marketing activities.

REPORTING TO: MARKETING MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the day to day running and reporting of marketing campaigns and client communications.
  • Good understanding and experience of using digital marketing activities, which include, but are not limited to: Using the CMS to add and manage content for the showroom website, creating and adding content to the social media channels, exploring Google Analytics data, working with partners to create engaging branded content, using in-house tools to create timely eDMs, electronic templates for sales and service for contacting our customers via email and SMS.
  • General support of the marketing function: documentation of collateral requirements, monitoring information on the websites, organising and monitoring the asset library, monitoring website and all marketing materials for brand guidelines conformance, monitoring the company’s online presence including social media.
  • To maintain and update the showroom CRM system (Dealerweb and UCS) – you will need a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel formatting and Customer Relationship Marketing as you extract data for targeting purposes.
  • Good understanding of market segmentation, leveraging customer data, insights and market trends to support the Marketing Manager in making strategic decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects and key marketing campaigns, ensuring a timely delivery in line with agreed budgets set out by the Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor campaign performance, reporting progress and insights to the Marketing Manager.
  • Liaising with internal departments, in particularly the Bolton Kia Sales Team, and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal departments, as well as external agencies and suppliers.
  • Co-ordinating in-showroom events and product placements.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate spelling and grammar skills.
  • Managing and qualifying Sales and Marketing leads.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

        

  • Educated to degree level.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Data-driven with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in campaign monitoring, reporting and presenting findings from the reported results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Powerpoint and Excel formatting. Having experience using a range of Excel formulas will also be beneficial.
  • Understanding of marketing practices in line with GDPR.
  • Team player and strong interpersonal skills.


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES


  • Business or Marketing related degree.
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience and knowledge in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
